I fully admit that I am a sucker for goofy roadside attractions. Billboards line the relentless strip of hot asphalt before me, and their siren song is hypnotic… rhythmic… poetic. It takes every ounce of self-control I possess to resist the call of Real Indian Artifacts and Live Buffalo. But resistance is futile when I am presented with PETRIFIED FOREST and FEED THE OSTRICHES and ANIMATRONIC DINOSAURS.
We must stop.
