Yarn of the Month

Our Afghans for Us group recently participated in a Yarn Tasting: each participant purchased one ball of yarn and divided it up into 10 yard lengths–just enough to knit up a small swatch and see how you like it. We all then exchanged them do you ended up with a bunch of different samples of yarn from everyone else. Kind of a “try before you buy” dealie, all for the cost of one ball of yarn.
